Harris Lentz has been providing annual books on Celebrity Obituaries for decades now. His latest covers the 2024 passings of people from fllm. TV, music, and sports.
Lentz's books are always better research tools than the internet provides. In one handy volume, he offers complete obituaries with a photo and capsule bios for each, no matter how small. His latest covers everyone from legendary filmmaker Roger Corman (several pages long) to the Milwaukee Brewers canine mascot.
As with all of his other books, this thick, thorough, information-packed volume is extrememly important for research on over 1200 celebrities including such notables as Kris Kristofferson, Maggie Smith, and Bob Newhart. We are saddened to see celebs whom we lost at a young age like Shannon Doherty and Liam Payne, the very elderly Joyce Randolph (99) and Glynnis Johns (100), controversial sports figures O.J. Simpson and Pete Rose, amusing non-performing celebs like Dr. Ruth Westheimer and Phil Donahue, and favorites like David Soul, Shelley Duvall, Martin Mull, James Darren, Richard Simmons, Donald Sutherland, even President JImmy Carter.
This book, like all the others, is value packed with info and is most highly recommended for research centers, libraries, and film buffs. The book can be ordered at this link: OBITS
